We investigate these fundamental biological processes, broadly referred to as membrane trafficking pathways. Using a range of techniques in the modern life sciences, we explore how cells initiate and regulate these pathways that are so critical to human health and disease. We aim to identify unknown components and to characterize the molecular mechanisms of ill-defined pathways. Furthermore, we hope to provide insight into human diseases, including neurological disorders and cancers, that are caused by mutations in
